Texas Invitational Fall 2017 Schedule

Thursday October 5, 2017
4-6pm: Airfield is open for pre-tech. You are strongly encouraged to pre-tech to avoid long lines on Friday. Local law enforcement will be present from this point until the event concludes.

Friday October 6, 2017
7am-8am: Gates open
8:15am: Drivers meeting
8:30am: Test and tune grudge race
12 noon: Lunch
1pm: Speed Indexing*
3pm: RWD Challenge and Trap Attack Pro Street Class Opt-In (top 16 drivers in each only)
4pm: RWD Challenge and Trap Attack Pro Street Class followed by a trophy presentation
6pm: Airfield closes

Saturday October 7, 2017
7am-8am: Gates open
8:15am: Drivers meeting
8:30am: Test and tune grudge race
12 noon: Lunch
1pm: Last Chance Speed Indexing*
3pm: King of the Street, 6 Speed Challenge, and Trap Attack Street Class Opt-In (top 16 drivers in Trap Attack Street Class only)
4pm: King of the Street, 6 Speed Challenge, and Trap Attack Street Class Opt-In followed by a trophy presentation
6pm: Airfield closes
9pm: Meet and greet reception at the host hotel bar

*For speed indexing, drivers will be loaded into the burnout box but will make independent/staggard runs. Right lane takes off and then once they get going the left lane will be released. To index you will launch at 65mph at the second green flag. We will have Caddo's "finest" running radar at the start to verify your start speed.

In the event of poor weather, we will enact an alternative contingency plan. That plan may consist of moving the schedule to Sunday or making the schedule shorter to make the event possible. If we have to enact a contingency plan, we will post it here and on the Texas Speed Syndicate FaceBook page.
